Reconstruct Kenya Youth Network – RKYNetwork is a youth led organisation that equips the youth with requisite skills to navigate todays leadership challenges.
We nurture youth who understand that taking action can exponentially boost the chances of achieving great success.
Youth in Africa face a multitude of challenges. Unemployment and poverty are widespread, leaving many struggling to earn a living. This can lead them down dangerous paths. Some resort to crime, like robbery or drug trafficking out of desperation and some are easily radicalised to join terrorist groups. Others gamble away their scanty earnings in the hope of a quick fortune, only to fall deeper into debt and addiction.
The cycle of chasing losses can have a devastating impact on mental health. Depression, substance abuse and hopelessness set in, leading some to tragically contemplate and even commit suicide.
This is where RKYNetwork steps in. Recognizing the potential and leadership qualities within young people, RKYNetwork aims to empower them by raising awareness about problem gambling and equip them with knowledge to make informed choices. Additionally, RKYNetwork has launched projects that will create opportunities for young people, fostering a sense of purpose and a path towards a brighter future.

PROBLEM GAMBLING AWARENESS [PGA]
Sensitising the youth on the dangers of problem gambling while offering alternative solutions to financial freedom.
KANDAMOJA FESTIVAL [MUSIC & ART FOR PEACE]
Leveraging the talents of the youth to create sustainable businesses opportunities that help them lead a happy and fulfilled life.
CLIMATE ACTION [GREENING ACTIVITIES]
Taking every step to reduce carbon emissions caused by our activities through incorporating greening of our environment in all our affairs.
Problem Gambling Awareness (PGA)
Our PGA activities are aimed at eliminating the effects of compulsive gambling. Problem gambling leads to financial loss, relationship problems, bankruptcy, loss of job, mental health related issues, substance abuse and suicide.
Together with our partners Flave Media Group – www.flavemediagroup.co.ke we have organised events to sensitize the youth of responsible gambling.
